Did everyone catch last week’s surprising reveal of why Hathaway left the seminary? No? Catch up on last week’s episode 'Life Born of Fire' online through Sunday, September 27, 2009, ET.
This is NOW my favorite series in the Masterpiece Mystery lineup this season from PBS. It is smart, reflective, and features excellent casting. I hope you enjoy it also. I am totally hooked.

Yes, I did see it. 'Life Born of Fire' was so smart & well-written. I love the series. With a background in academia & an undergrad in Philosophy of Religion, I'm fascinated by Hathaway & his relationship to Lewis. Thanks for the reminder. With no way to tape, I must catch it Sunday night (I rarely have a chance to see the repeat during week.)
ReplyDeleteCheers.

Susan,
ReplyDeleteYou can watch previous episodes online for two weeks. I agree with you - this series is smart and intelligent. This last episode was truly grand. Vic
Still miss Morse, but this show keeps getting better. Didn't realize the program was online.
ReplyDeleteI loved Morse, and was worried Lewis would be a pale comparison. I have been happily surprised. Just spent yesterday rewatching the last Morse episode (sadder in retrospect, knowing how ill John Thaw was in real life), Lewis series I, then watching my Tivo'd Life Born of Fire. The character development, and the emerging relationship between Lewis and Hathaway is very well played. I just hope Lewis does better with finding a lasting relationship than poor Morse did.
