Ms. Mulligan is making a huge splash these days, as this interview with Times Live Magazine attests. Let's hope she's not a flash in the pan like Gretchen Moll, but that she shows true staying power!
I remember seeing Gretchen in The Magnificent Ambersons and thinking at the time that she would go on to bigger things. I was disappointed in the series though, one of the few period dramas that didn't inspire at all! I do hope that Carey Mulligan's promising future continues to shine!
