Didn't realise anybody outside the Uk saw or knew about Ashes to Ashes. We had the final episode last night. Does anybody want to know how it all ends up and why people are in the past? Did anybody see the first series Life on Mars? Tony
PS I think American TV producers were impressed with the English version so they made an American one with Harvey Keitel in the lead role of Gene Hunt. Probably changed his name though. I've not seen the American version. Sometimes these things don't cross the Atlantic too well.
Just a thought. The First series Life and Mars and the recent batch of series,Ashes to Ashes, both get their titles from David Bowie songs, so you can ascertain how far they go into the past.
Thanks, Tony. I agree, these things often don't cross over the Atlantic well. I, for one, thought this clip was quite funny, so I am amazed at the number of thumbs down!
I can only interpret viewers' reactions as: Do not mess with Mr. Darcy or kill him!

Vic, I'm posting the video in my blog too!
Quite a bit of silliness! Terribly funny! :)
ROFLOL! I gave it thumb down for killing Mr. Darcy and having a scatter brain Lizzy. I'll posting in my blog too, if you don't mind...
Steamy Darcy
That was mostly inspired. The young man playing Darcy actually looks like he could convincing play the part in a real version of Pride and Prejudice.
