  2. Don't you just LOVE those hunting coats!

Maybe 1995 was good for hunting, but the newer S&S is so much better all around!

  3. The first photo in Sense and Sensibility, I can remember what they were speaking about in that scene!
"She would no more think of me than of you John, and all the better for her!"
My all time favorite film and just knowing the screenplay was written by Emma Thompson and she stars in it just makes it all the more lovely.
It was indeed a good year!

I've seen only 'Pride and prejudice', the 1995 and 2005 version. They are both very good!

  5. I would say that 1995 was a vintage year for Austen. Those three films still rank as the best in my estimation. We also had Clueless in 1995. In 1996 we had the dueling Emmas. What a great two years for Jane Austen fans.

  6. Absolutely love the black and white pictures(or is that my eyesight?)

They really give an added quality. They make the scenes feel older.

The hunting scene is very dramatic. Action packed.

    Great choice Raquel.

    Cranberry Morning,
oh... those hunting coats are superb.

I know 1995 S&S has a lot of faults... like no Lady Middleton, no Eliza Williams as Colonel's sister-in-law, no Willoughby asking for forgiveness but I yet like. I love Greg Wise. That's my fault!
