The chronology of the novel spans one year, so in that sense you are correct! I am looking for the answer in which Mr. Darcy reveals his age during his second proposal to Lizzie. This can be found in the text or in Wikipedia, I believe.
I was thinking the same thing as Jessica. So I must defend my answer, now that I have looked up the correct response, that I must have mentally done the math and put his age back a year to what he would have been at the beginning of the book!
Wendi, my sense is that you voted for one of the correct ages! This was not meant to be a trick question, for I really had only one age in mind, forgetting that the year-long span of the novel would throw the question slightly askew.
I believe there may be two correct answers to this question ;)
