More Icons - Keep Them Coming!

Sharon T. shows us a sense of humor, saying about Mr. Collins - "Not A Sensible Man."
"Hah!" says Ms. Place, "I adore Mr. Collins because he makes the men in my life seem normal."

Jane V sends more icons of Matthew Macfadyen. Oh, my - yummilicious.

Enjoy, dear readers. And remember, you will be asked to vote for your favorites starting November 4th. Such fun! Remember that the folks submitting the icons stand to win a copy of #1: An autographed copy of A Walk With Jane Austen, and #2 & #3 my (used) copies of Mr. Knightley's Diary and Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict.

Oh Dear....

My statement of "Not a Sensible Man," came from a quote within Pride and Prejudice, as follows:

"Mr. Collins was not a sensible man, and the deficiency of nature had been but little assisted by education or society."

I really enjoy the creativity with many of the icons...just enjoyed the movie again last evening.

Thank you for the clarification, Sharon, though I think we can all agree that "Not a Sensible Man" is a mild way of describing our ridiculous Mr. Collins. He holds a warm place in my affections, however, as long as he stays out of my life!
