In another development, dashing Mr. Darcy and sweet Buttercup from Princess Bride, er, Colin Firth and Robin Wright Penn, were in Cannes promoting A Christmas Carol, a CGI film that stars Jim Carrey. Colin plays the role of Fred and Robin plays (I imagine) the fiancee Scrooge gave up for love of money.

Wow, when I first saw that picture, I thought he was with Jeri Ryan from Star Trek: Voyager, and I started getting excited that he might be crossing over into the ST universe! :-)

Robin Wright Penn. First time I saw her in anything, she could barely speak or act ( on T.V. when she was a teenager )...some things never change ! ( and who in their right mind would marry Sean Penn anyway ? )
I just hope the director kept Jim C. in check so he doesn't ruin the movie !

Your title is so good I just had to comment. Because that's what I think when I see that actress and that actor, no matter what else they're in.
I never would have recognized her as Robin Wright Penn. I wonder how much work she's had done.
