I wanted to love it as much as the first one but I suppose sequels have the hard task of matching up to the original. It was still good to see Miss Matty and company, and I loved seeing Jonathon Pryce and Celia Imrie! I did think that things picked up in the second episode!

Um...is Septimus gay? That's what I assumed prior to this episode, that he was hiding his lifestyle from his mother, aside from being a selfish, pompous jerk.

Now it looks to me like he definitely is. Was this topic ever addressed in the book?

I loved it ! I laughed, I cried and I got so mad at Septimus that I yelled at the T.V.

BTW,
In the former series, the actor who played Peter, Miss Matty's long lost brother is missing in this one...did he die in real life or did they just not ask him back ?
He was so much more handsome than the actor playing Peter now. ( I would have cast Sean Connery in the part if he would do it ) LOL
