I think comics are fun and I love to see how my favorite stories translate to them!

I'd love to be entered! When I was younger, I was drawn to the look of comics. But I never really got into them, I guess because I couldn't find any that appealed to me.

I like the combination of a lovely story and beautiful artwork. I want to eventually collect all of the Jane Austen comics. :)

I have read comics since being an undergraduate and love them as a literature medium. I have given them to my younger siblings, and I think the literature ones that Marvel puts out are a get introduction to Austen for younger readers.

I started with Archie comics as a kid and never stopped. I love these Jane Austen comics. Working my way through Emma right now.

Comics definitely have their place in life, and to see a Jane Austen going comic really amazes me- I'd love a copy!

I started with Doraemon before moving on to Archie comics. Although I seldom buy all the issues, to me Archie is still my favourite comics of all time.

I have read Marvel's Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility and Emma so am looking forward to reading Northanger Abbey. Hopefully Marvel will release Persuasion and Mansfield Park in the coming year.

Other than the fact that the art is AMAZING, I'd love to see Northanger Abbey in comic form. I love imagining what the costumes look like, the places, the hairstyles and colors but it would be even more lovely if I can actually see how they dress, the colors of the dresses and how they look when they say certain dialogues.

Northanger Comics: I am intrigued!
I was really into the popular Marvel heroes of the early nineties. I loved to flip through my book of Marvel Universe trading cards and admire the artwork. My brother and I used to draw our favorite characters: Storm, Silver Surfer, The Punisher, Gambit... we really bonded over Marvel Comics!

I got introduced to graphic novels and comics when I read the graphic novel version of familiar Disney stories in grade school. Been fun to read ever since!

My first comic reads were Archie, Marvel Superheroes, and DC Comic superheroes that I shared with my brother. My first graphic book was Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs. I would love to see what Jane Austen is like as a comic book.

Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

What a wonderful giveaway! I started reading comics when I met my boyfriend 10 years ago. He used to subscribe to Wizard magazine and I would read all his old issues. Loved Y the Last Man and Blue Beetle.

Oh! what a lovely giveaway! When I was a little girl I used to read comics about a duck, well, it's popular in my country- but next to that I haven't really read a lot of comics. But I'd love to win this one!

I never was into comics when I was younger. My very first one I read was the Sense and Sensibility Marvel comic. I also really enjoyed the Pride and Prejudice Marel comic. I would love a copy of this new one! Thanks for the giveaway!!

I was reading Archie comics from when I was about 5 years old! My favorites were always the Betty & Veronica double digests though! :)
Would love to win this!!

It seems there are a lot of Archie fans! I, too, started with Archie comics. I'd buy the double digests at the supermarket. Then I started getting into manga and buying graphic novels from comic-book shops. I like comics because you can read the words and have the images right there to accompany the story.

Reading comics is what got me through some long car rides back when I was a kid and my parents would get the itch to travel. I especially loved Richie Rich and Archie and Casper.

I didn't realize that there are Jane Austen comics--I can't wait to check them out!

I love comics and started with Archie. I recently read a graphic novel of Jane Eyre and the Pride and Prejudice zombie ones, they're quite fun!

I have read comics off and on since I was in college. I especially love comics that are adapted from novels, like this one. It adds another dimension to the stories.

My parents would get the Sunday paper for coupons, and I would read the comics once my Mom was finished. I also started reading graphic novels this year and enjoy Holly Black's Good Neighbors series. Thanks for the giveaway!

I love comics because they offer a different style of storytelling than either books or film. Additionally, the artistic expression that can be found sometimes is downright glorious.

I've been reading them since I was in high school, reading Batman comics in the library. Didn't really get sucked in until I read some X-Men and then Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane comics in bookstores and online during college.

Hey, I started with Archie, too! Only, I'm 18. So, I didn't really start *with* him, I suppose... A fellow Austen fan gave me the Pride & Prejudice comic set for my birthday, a couple years ago. I would so enjoy the Northanger Abbey comic! I've always thought Catherine was a beautiful character to read about. I wish they'd make a proper movie out of the book... But how often does that happen..?

Anywho, thanks for this blog. It's a sweet break from the USA's hustle and bustle and ever-advancing world.
