Last night my family and I watched a movie on commercial TV. During commercials we talked, or I played Angry Birds, or checked my emails and comments on my blog. Jane's family would read to each other, play cards or games, like checkers and backgammon, play charades or act in plays that Jane might have written, sing and play at the piano for a family musicale, or roll up the carpet for an impromptu dance.
