Lansdown Media LTD has purchased Jane Austen's World Magazine, formerly owned by the Jane Austen Centre Bath, and has redesigned it. The publication remains the official magazine of the Jane Austen Centre, but it now boasts a simplified though more professional format, a font based on Jane Austen's handwriting, a news section, and guest writers. The magazine has a circulation of 1,000, which the new owners would like to double this year.

The new magazine will be available for order September 1.
