Beautiful article Vic. Speaking of Regency library furniture, I have always been fascinated by the library chair that converts into steps in the 1940 P&P. Have you noticed it? If memory serves Mr. Bennet uses it toward the beginning of the film. I have always wanted one for myself. Have you ever run across one in any of your research travels? Cheers, LA
