Yes, I have been running personalised tours for over a year now. I retired from teaching a year last Easter and had always thought meeting people and guiding them around this green and pleasant land would be a nice thing to do. Tours by Locals, a Canadian firm based in Vancouver, took me on after references had been provided and my qualifications had all been checked thoroughly.
I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting families and small groups of friends and taking them on an adventure in the South of England.
The tours I do are designed for the customer. They usually ask to visit certain places and give me the number of days they want the tour for and I research it and plan it. All the places are places I know well.
