I really need to see this :D
Considering this seems like a readers theater with costumes and set to music, I found it delightful but would rather not see the books they are all holding and the narration by "Jane Austen." Why not make it a true musical with scenery etc. and all the bravado that a Broadway musical should be ?
This performance was a concert staged reading. The production going up in NYC at the end of will be off-book and a fully staged production. Jane Austen has her own story within the show.
